Ways to display your right to free speech in public

Free speech is one of America’s greatest rights but some people go through their entire life without exercising this right. People have died to bring you the right of free speech so make sure you use it. Here is a list of a few examples or suggestions to how you can make the best use of free speech:

Art

Most public spaces will allow you to show your display easel art or you can go wilder with a human modern art piece that will shock and awe the people around you, maybe it will even make them think about something important, that is up to you. If you can’t display your art in a gallery display it in public thanks to the laws of free speech. Show the world your creation and make our ancestors proud.

Preach

Do you have strong political or religious feelings? Maybe ecological or moral feelings on a topic? Well, thanks to free speech you can shout them to the world on the busy public corner for all to hear thanks to free speech. The effectiveness of this tactic in doing anything but angering most of the passersby is debatable but that’s not the point, the point is that you are exercising your right to free speech, and that is beautiful.

Brochures

Similar to preaching, if you’ve got the time and money to print out a special tract or brochure on a topic you feel is important but doesn’t get enough support, you have the free speech right to hand these out in public and to get your ideas into the mainstream. No matter what sort of crazy ideas you may have about politics, aliens, lizard people, the illuminati, the blacks, the Jews, the whites, the president or Kanye West, you can display them in public through brochures and tracts.
